Project Aim
Project Overview:
Bechwat Agricultural Cooperative consists of approximately 200 farmer members. Its primary plantations include fruit- bearing trees such as grapes, almonds, and apricots, alongside various vegetables, wheat, and barley as winter crops. Currently, farmers must rent tractors at high costs, and availability is often limited, causing delays in transporting their produce to markets.

Objectives:
The cooperative aims to reduce ploughing costs, increase annual agricultural production, and enhance farmers’ profitability by lowering operational expenses.

Implementation Plan:
To address these challenges, the cooperative is requesting a grant from SEAL for an agricultural tractor 185 horsepower $15,000 equipped with essential tools, including:3 sets of plow rails (2 blades, 3 blades and 5 blades) $3,000, Transportation trailer with a roller $4,000, Chemicals Sprayer Machine $3,500, 4,000 liters capacity Tank $2,500
By acquiring this tractor, the cooperative will provide shared access to crucial farming equipment, ensuring sustainable agricultural growth and improved livelihoods for its members.
