Our Work
SEAL fulfills its mission by providing grants across its 6 focus areas: Agricultural production, Water and Irrigation, Women in the Workforce, Business Skills, Environment and Humanitarian. And we ask that all grant requests align with one or more of the focus areas and are awarded after thorough evaluation and a rigorous selection process.

Grants are specifically targeted to community-driven economic development projects that will create jobs. Our goal is to sustainably improve living standards for communities that are not eligible for subsidies or are unable to raise capital.

These grants are not handouts for consumption. They are investments in growth consisting of equipment, business training and urgently needed infrastructure interventions. These grants are made directly to the local groups to jumpstart or facilitate expansion of an economic venture.

Projects Approved for Funding

It is not hyperbole to call the current economic and humanitarian situation in Lebanon catastrophic. All SEAL projects awaiting funding will help create needed jobs for underserved Lebanese communities. To keep them out of the poverty cycle and get them into the virtuous cycle of work and a sustainable livelihood.

Please look at our list of approved projects awaiting funding. Naming opportunities are earned by sponsoring a project. Or choose any amount you wish to give to help us continue expanding our work with under-served communities in Lebanon and responding to the requests we receive for vital support.
