Description and Impact
Led by the Municipality of Aaiha, this project restored two traditional water reservoirs, each spanning 25,000 square meters. This rehabilitation will enable the collection of rainfall and snowmelt to support irrigation for crops and livestock, benefiting local farmers, cattle breeders, and beekeepers.
The SEAL grant funded essential activities, including clearing obstacles, leveling the land, installing eco-friendly rubber isolators, adding fencing, and expanding collection grooves. The project is set to irrigate over 350 dunums of agricultural land.
