SEAL funded the purchase of 22 Braille writing machines that facilitated students' education at the Lebanese School for the Blind and Deaf. The school was established in 1953 with the goal of educating blind and deaf children. The school focused on preparing the children for an effective and rewarding life as independent and contributing members of the community.
