Situated at a height of 1650m, Bekaakafra is often cited as the highest village in the Middle East where the St. Charbel Agricultural Cooperative was established to support Bekaakafra farmers and improve their living standards.
To further this goal, SEAL purchased vegetable choppers, driers, peelers, and mincers that supported the cooperative’s business launch. The launch was based on selling a variety of agricultural products that generated additional income for local farmers and their families.
