Description and Impact
As prices rose considerably in 2007 a significant number of farmers across Lebanon could no longer afford fertilizer. This resulted in a notable decrease in fruit production, and consequently lower income for these families.
In cooperation with the mayors of Hdayni, Ain Kouna and Hay el Boustan in the Yanouh region, SEAL contributed to the distribution of over 22,000kg of compost to more than 200 farmers.
