SEAL funded the purchase of semi-automatic filling, capping, and over-cap smoothing machines, for the first fully accredited organic olive oil produced in Lebanon. This artisanal oil was marketed as ‘Les Artisans de l’Olivier/Healthy Basket’. Six farmers, who grow organic olives, were carefully selected for this project which used a restored traditional olive press in the Saida region.
