Providing the training, material and equipment necessary to transform unsold and low-grade olive oil into natural soap, this project created new job opportunities, and through diversification, increased the economic outlook and sustainability of the soap factory in Al Souweini.
The materials acquired with grant funds included packaging and marketing materials, product labels, and trade registration for the factory. Importantly, the grant also covered training and development workshops for the cooperative.
The factory is located in a building that belongs to the cooperative.
