SEAL supported the Municipality of Al Jdaideh – Fakiha in the installation of a 1.8-kilometer irrigation water network to convey water from the Al Fakiha spring to the Al Jdaideh area. While water resources are available within the village, residents of Al Jdaideh face limited access to a reliable supply.

This project aims to improve access to water for households, enhance agricultural productivity, and promote sustainable water resource management, ultimately contributing to better living conditions for the local community.

The project was implemented by the Municipality of Al Jdaideh – Fakiha and included the excavation of a 1,800-meter trench and the installation of 110 mm, 16-bar polyethylene pipes to transport water directly from the spring to the Al Jdaideh quarter. Works comprised excavation, pipe laying, and proper backfilling to ensure long-term durability and efficient operation. SEAL's support covered the cost of materials and associated installation works.
