Description and Impact

SEAL funded the installation of a water pump and pipes that facilitated water delivery to the Akoura village from Al Rowayess to the Al Akaba area.

Al Roywayess is a well-known river in Lebanon; it is a public river, meaning that anyone can benefit from its water.  This project enabled the water to reach the village allowing farmers to plant trees and irrigate their lands. This project benefitted approximately 30,000m² of agricultural land.
