This project was designed to improve the quality of olive oil, and it increased the capacity of the mill through the superior oil extraction process. This SEAL grant consisted of an oil separator with a capacity of processing 2,000 liters per hour, which was expected to increase olive oil production by 40%. This enabled more farmers to benefit from the services of the mill as well as provided a place for local farmers to come together, exchange information, collaborate, and build stronger social links among the farmers in the surrounding areas.
