The Agri-Food Fulcrum Association for Development (AFAD) received from SEAL a previous grant of $12,500 for wheat seeds and fertilizers to distribute to 100 farmers. After a successful planting of the 5T of drought tolerant wheat distributed by SEAL in December 2022, farmers in Aarsal, Hermel needed to harvest their crops. Hence, SEAL provided an additional grant to AFAD for one BCS 3 wheels harvester machine that helped these farmers harvest the 500,000 m2 of crops they planted. The equipment is being used and shared among the farmers under the supervision of AFAD.
