Description and Impact
Zawtar Cooperative is a registered organic olive and oil production agribusiness. The first grant they received from SEAL was in 2019 for $28,000 for an automatic oil filling machine. The coop has also received the 2nd grant of 3 olive harvesting machines, a shredder machine, a 400 Liters sprayer turbine with its equipment, a plow rail for tractor and olive pits compress that has further reduced expenses, increased harvesting capabilities by 50%, olive oil production by 33% and improved the quality of oil production.
