NDC is an NGO established in1982. In August 2020, it launched a 10-year program to increase local cultivation of grains in a sustainable way by supporting small-scale farmers in all regions of the country. Today it serves 58 farmers evenly distributed throughout Lebanon and plans to expand that number to 300 farmers in 2024. Now that the program is well underway, harvesting equipment to be shared among all the farmers is needed. So SEAL provided a BCS 4 wheels harvester, a thresher and sieve line processing machines that will be shared by farmers within NDC program. NDC has agreed to also support farmers from neighboring regions introduced by SEAL.
