This is the second grant from SEAL to the cooperative. Kfardounin cooperative supports the production of different types of grains and seeds including freekeh, lentils and hummus. SEAL has purchased a grain sorting machine that is needed to automatically separate grains from its hull. This machine will speed up the tedious manual work needed to produce a clean sellable product. Today 80T of grains are produced by the coop. The production will double as a result of the use of the machine. It also allows the production of fodder using the residues from the grains.
