Fishermen in Lebanon face extraordinary hardship after the winter season as most of their fishing nets have been deprecated during the fishing season and there is rarely any possibility of savings accrual for fishing gear refurbishment. To assist, SEAL distributed strong, large-mesh Japanese nets to 1088 fishermen along the Mount Lebanon coastline in collaboration with 8 cooperatives.
