The Green Hand Organization established the Authentic Aley Pioneer Pack & Process Center (AAPC) to empower SMEs, women entrepreneurs, and small-scale producers. This facility provides advanced processing, packaging, private labeling, and market integration services for food products, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and high industry standards for U.S. exports.

AAPC was partially launched in 2023 and has received phased funding from partners such as GIZ, which supported the installation of solar energy (Phase 1) and the acquisition of key processing machinery. Additional investments were needed to fully develop the center’s packaging, labeling, and processing capabilities.

With SEAL’s support, AAPC was able to bridge these gaps, elevate operations to world-class standards, provide small producers with advanced processing solutions, and employ underserved women, offering them sustainable income opportunities.
Implementation was carried out in three phases:
Phase 1 – construction of a hangar and infrastructure for dryers and the solar system;
Phase 2 – installation of gas stirring pot with chiller, stainless steel equipment including tables, trolleys, and cabinets, and a spice grinder;
Phase 3 – deployment of a sauce vertical packing machine, desktop automatic round bottle machine, semi-automatic bottle capping machine, UV sterilizer, handled cap shrink system, and forklift.

With continued support, AAPC is poised to become a leading hub for high-quality food processing and packaging in the region.
