Description and Impact
The Arsoun Ladies Association produces and sells natural homemade food products. To enhance their production capability, SEAL provided them in 2015 a grant of $9,250 for kitchen utensils, ovens, grinding machines, and juicers. The association has received a 2nd grant consisting of a dough mixer and baking machine, dough sheeter, cooking pot, pomegranate machine and tables to create an added income while allowing the women in the village to have more job opportunities and grow their dough-based products like bread, pizza, manakish, and all kinds of pastries. Profits are tripling as a result of the installation and use of the new equipment.
