Le Bon Lait is a cooperative-owned dairy factory that produces cheese, milk, and yogurt products. Their products are delivered door-to-door in the area around Akkar and sold in supermarkets as far away as Zouk, Mount Lebanon. This project represented the third equipment grant to Le Bon Lait after previously providing a refrigerated truck in 2015. The equipment given in this grant consists of a chiller to sterilize pasteurized milk, a homogenizer to combine milk particles, and a cooling room for storage. This allowed for a 25% increase in factory productivity.
