Since its launch in 2013, LFE acted as a gateway for the diaspora network to engage with the local entrepreneurial community. This engagement mobilized hundreds of Lebanese technology and finance executives in the U.S. and Europe to support the Lebanese startup ecosystem in the technology sector. The ultimate aim was job creation, economic development, and investment. SEAL covered the operating expenses of the IT center for two years.
