Description and Impact
The modern technology of drip irrigation for crops prevents water waste, saves farmers’,and better ensures a higher quality and quantity of produce than traditional flood irrigation. This SEAL grant funded installation of the drip lines and the farmers themselves connected them together as required. This project was implemented concurrently with a drip irrigation project in Bkifa, Chouf with information on best practices and lessons learned and shared between the two cooperatives.

  • 144,000m x 15c per meter of driplines. 144,000 meters breaks down as 60 farmers x 6 segments of 400m per farmer
