Description and Impact
The modern technology of drip irrigation for crops prevents water waste and ensures a higher quality and quantity of produce than traditional flood irrigation. This SEAL grant funded the installation of drip lines and the farmers themselves connected them together as required. This project was implemented concurrently with a similar project in Dardara, South Lebanon with information on best practices and lessons learned and shared between the two cooperatives.
