Following the success of the apple tree rootstock projects in North Lebanon and Jezzine, SEAL funded the acquisition of rootstocks to farmers in Tarshish, Zahle. Apple farming is typically these farmers’ single source of income. 7,740 apple tree saplings were distributed to 516 farmers.
