Description and Impact
The Agri-Food Fulcrum Association for Development (AFAD) distributed 50kg of the most appropriate kind of wheat seeds (ACSAD 1133) together with fertilizers to 100 farmers (existing and new ones) in the Aarsal area to help them increase the use of their lands and plant wheat to be sold to local Cooperatives for grinding and burghul production. AFAD, who has a reputable presence in the Aarsal area, assisted the farmers in using good agriculture practices in farming their lands. With each bag of seeds, each farmer was able to grow wheat on a surface of 5,000m2.
