Description and Impact
The Agricultural Cooperative Association in Saidoun, which previously received a grant from SEAL that increased its income through expanded Mouneh production, is now broadening its initiatives. Building on this success, SEAL has further supported the cooperative by funding the construction of four greenhouses for growing organic vegetables. These vegetables will be made available to the entire village, encouraging healthier and more affordable food options. To ensure the long-term sustainability of the project, SEAL has also provided a water reservoir, along with essential infrastructure and equipment for a reliable water supply. Additionally, part of the greenhouse produce will contribute to the cooperative’s ongoing Mouneh production efforts.
