Description and Impact
In Phase II of this project, SEAL funded the remaining 200m of the planned 900m of irrigation pipes in Kfarhabou. These cement pipelines brought water to the village’s northeast agricultural area, which expanded farmable land area. The new irrigation system reduced water usage, ensured fair distribution, and reduced the problems caused by mudslides. 31 farmers benefited from these pipelines which span approximately 120,000 m².
