This grant to the Beekeepers Cooperative Association in Qwayteh, consisted of purchasing beehives, beekeeping suits, and other equipment for necessary honey making. The cooperative provided training to farmers who own the surrounding lands. This beekeeping initiative supported the coop's honey production business, which is expected to yield 1,200kg per year creating new income for its members.
The project also brought economic benefits to women famers who were able to work productively in this sector. Additionally, it also has an environmental impact, as after the honey is produced, its wax will be recycled.
