Description and Impact
SEAL funded the production of 1000 beehives and granted them to the Akkar beekeepers United Cooperative Association. Members of the Coop received each 4 beehives with 10 frames to help them grow their honey production business.
The beehives are manufactured by the Mhaydsse Coop factory that also received a grant from SEAL in 2018 to fund needed machines to boost factory production
SEAL continues to support the beekeeping sector in Lebanon and encourages coordination among beekeepers to share best practices and training.
