SEAL purchased 21,500 apple roots that were distributed to family farmers in the Bcharre Region. Farmers in seven villages, for whom apple farming is the primary source of income, benefited from this grant.
Each farmer received between 50 to 200 roots – depending on the capacity of their land – at an exceptional price of $2 per root.
