Rising stars from diverse fields, the ambassadors are united by a determination to raise living standards and support vibrant communities in Lebanon. As a part of their membership of this group of young professionals, the Ambassadors of SEAL represent the organization across the world and commit to raising funds or awareness for SEAL, or contributing to the organization in other ways. The Ambassadors of SEAL group was formed in 2017, to celebrate SEAL’s 20 year anniversary.
Mo Amer’s comedy is exactly what the world needs right now. Born to Palestinian refugees in Kuwait, Mo’s family relocated to Houston, Texas when he was just 9 years old. As a pioneer of Arab-American standup, he has already cemented his stature as a truly original voice in comedy, opening for standup legend Dave Chappelle over 100 times (including at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal in 2015), becoming a paid regular and club favorite at the world-famous Comedy Cellar in NYC, and developing a reality series with The Office’s Rainn Wilson, who calls Mo “the funniest comic in the whole entire world.”
Khalid Rahmaan is a dog lover, a terrible driver and a Brooklyn-based standup comic. Every month, you can find Khalid socially integrating his not-quite-gentrified neighborhood at his monthly show ELECTRIC LAUGHS at Franklin Electric (650 Franklin Ave) and ripping it up with the good homie LeClerc Andre at UNARMED & DANGEROUS COMEDY at Drexler's (9 Avenue A). In 2015, he was a Semi-Finalist at the NBC Standup Competition. In 2016, he performed at the Brooklyn Comedy Festival and at the Accidental Comedy Festival in Cleveland, Ohio.
