Background
In 1999, SEAL funded the publication of "The Enchanted Book of Lebanon",
a children's book that reviews Lebanon's history and geography through the
eyes of a Lebanese American child visiting relatives in Lebanon.
The book aims to raise Lebanese-Americans' awareness of their heritage,
and hopefully stimulate the community's interest in supporting the country's
economic revival. While Michelle El-Khoury Tager has authored the book, all
drawings and illustrations are the works of Lebanese school children, under
the art direction of Maha Nehme.
