Background
In 1999, SEAL funded the publication of "The Enchanted Book of Lebanon", a children's book that reviews Lebanon's history and geography through the eyes of a Lebanese American child visiting relatives in Lebanon.

The book aims to raise Lebanese-Americans' awareness of their heritage, and hopefully stimulate the community's interest in supporting the country's economic revival. While Michelle El-Khoury Tager has authored the book, all drawings and illustrations are the works of Lebanese school children, under the art direction of Maha Nehme.

This book was made possible by generous contributions from:
Gefinor (USA) Sacha Mouzin
Danielle & Georges Boutros Amal & Charles Debbas
Alexander & Paola Tabet Rita & Bechara Nammour
Helen & Fuad Sawaya Sandra & Anthony Tamer

SEAL would like to acknowledge the following for their assistance in the creation of this book:
Elizabeth Kelley Nadine Hajjar
Delphine Leroy Rocket Books
Tamara McNott-Lazarev

The images in this book were drawn by Lebanese school children under the guidance of Maha Nehme. They are:
