Background

Al-Younbouh is a center for mentally-disabled young adults that has been operational for fifteen years. The center aims to teach mentally-disabled individuals different professions so as to help them become self-sufficient members of society.

The program is highly successful, with some students now working at companies such as Sanita and McDonald’s. SEAL funded the purchase of a planetary mixer and a cutter for Al-Younbouh’s pastry workshop.
