Background
The Lebanese Red Cross workers risked their lives operating 200 ambulances
around the clock during the summer war. Their dedication saved the lives
of many and earned them the recognition of all domestic and international
organizations.
The Lebanese Red Cross needed to continue assisting the wounded and
provide medical relief. SEAL provided the Red Cross with funds for two blood
bank centrifuges.
