Background

This summer's war created water distribution and sanitation difficulties for many villages in the south.

In association with Aid Lebanon, SEAL funded a mobile water treatment unit that was sent to the villages of Nabatiyeh, Tyre, Marjeyoun and Bint Jbeil.

Aid Lebanon is a coalition of six organizations that have pulled their resources together and launched the 'civil campaign for relief' in July 2006, after realizing the scale of the humanitarian crisis. Their work ranges from coordination with other local and international NGOs to fundraising and supplying food and medical relief.
