SEAL sponsored a comprehensive exhibition in Washington D.C., organized by APEAL and entitled: “Convergence: New Art from Lebanon”. The focus of this exhibition, which includes nearly 50 paintings, sculptures, mixed-media installations, photographs, digital animations, films, and architectural projects by 31 mostly Beirut-based artists, is art in the aftermath of Lebanon’s civil war. Such an event allows talented Lebanese artists to reach a wider audience and propel their careers abroad.
