MADA is an NGO working on the socio-economic development of the Hermel area, while
preserving the environment. Its two main goals are to empower local human resources to
contribute positively to the development of their community; and to develop local natural,
cultural, environmental, and economic resources.
SEAL funded an initiative of MADA which consisted of creating four 'bed and breakfasts' in the
Hermel area, so as to increase revenues for locals and encourage tourism to the region.
