SEAL contributed to the funding of a water reservoir in Dweir, Tannourine, in partnership with the Lebanese Civil Cooperative. A comprehensive feasibility study was completed to show the need for a lake that would serve to reclaim, cultivate and irrigate land that has been neglected for the past fifty years, along with the ensuing costs and benefits. Approximately sixty beneficiaries are to plant a large variety of fruits and vegetables, and market their sanitary, organic agricultural practices.
