In collaboration with the Mayor of Kartaba, SEAL funded the construction of 4,200 meters of water pipes in the El Charbini and Hossaya areas, in the Kartaba region. Water initially flowed through cement canals; however, time and natural factors eventually destroyed these canals. The pipes that this project funded helped to irrigate new land in the Kartaba region, and over 80 farmers benefitted from this project.
