Year:   2008

Background

This project entailed laying over 2km of pipes to bring the water of the Ras-el-Nahr spring to the agricultural fields of over a thousand individuals. Previously, the water distribution was erratic, due to landslides, storms and evaporation. Thanks to the new pipes, the land is irrigated both more evenly and more efficiently, much water has been saved, and agricultural production has significantly increased.
