This project will oversee the installation of 4500m of 4 inch water networks, which will eventually irrigate a total of 100,000m2. The projects aims at supporting farmers and providing them with modern techniques to enable them to better exploit their lands.

Pipes will need to be dug under the ground and of a high thickness in order to protect them from snow. This explains the high costs of this particular project compared with regular irrigation installations. The total cost of the project of $116,600 will be shared between the Association who will cover excavation costs and back filling and SEAL who will provide the rest.

This project is a part of SEAL’s IRRIGATION NETWORK program, which digs wells and installs irrigation systems throughout Lebanon.
